苗床顧名思義就是用來放苗的床，其分為固定苗床和可移動苗床。固定苗床就是苗床固定在了種植溫室地面上，床面不可移動。手搖式移動苗床就是床面可以移動的床。由于固定苗床的土地利用率較低，因此逐漸被手搖式苗床所取代。
那么問題來了為什么要使用手搖式移動苗床呢？為什么不直接把盆花放在地上呢。

1、苗床網(wǎng)的高度大約在0.6米高，加上盆花自有高度在一米左右，正好工人站著很自然的工作，不會很累。
2、苗床網(wǎng)將植物鏤空太高，形成上下的通風空間、不宜滋生細菌等。
3、由于大面積生產(chǎn)溫室一般都會安裝噴灌或者自走式水車來代替人工澆水，如果植物直接放在地下會長期泡在水中，容易導致根部腐爛。
4、移動式苗床土地利用率高，溫室跨度為8米，可以放4個1.8米也就是苗床實際是7.2米，溫室土地利用率為90%。
2. 由于紅掌原產(chǎn)地特性，決定了紅掌生長需要較高的空氣濕度。一般大棚養(yǎng)植培育過程中會將空氣濕度維持在百分之六十到百分之八十之間，想必家庭養(yǎng)護過程中則比較難達到這樣的條件，這個時候可以采用噴霧，加濕器來增加葉面和室內(nèi)空氣相對濕度，從而創(chuàng)造適宜紅掌生長的環(huán)境，如果有條件，將紅掌放在熱帶雨林缸中養(yǎng)，那是再好不過哦。
3. 良好的光照是紅掌進行光合作用的必要因素，對它的葉色、花、佛焰苞的品質(zhì)會有重要影響。室內(nèi)養(yǎng)紅掌需要一定的散射光，可以放在臥室靠窗臺處，客廳明亮有散射光的地方等。夏天光照過強，建議不要放在室外直曬，否則可能造成葉片變色、灼傷或者焦枯的現(xiàn)象，到時后果不堪設想。
4. 紅掌喜歡濕潤的環(huán)境，不要等它的基質(zhì)都干透了才知道澆水，一般在盆土微干時就可以進行澆水了，記得始終保持土壤是濕潤的狀態(tài)，自來水不建議使用。
5. 如需施肥，可選擇高磷鉀肥，能促進開花，結(jié)合澆水一起使用。一次性不能施肥太多，薄肥勤施***好。
6. 紅掌的基質(zhì)選擇疏松透氣的粗泥炭混合細泥炭，粗細比例1:1左右比較合適，再混合少量整株巖。如果是剛買回來的紅掌建議不要立即換盆種植，***好是等植株長大，根系長滿后再換大盆養(yǎng)。
